    Great Wildebeest Migration Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi

    Our representative will meet you at the airport and take you to Hotel. We collaborate with this establishments because it provides serenity, world-class spa services, and cuisines fit for a king or queen.
    You will be spending the night at your hotel, and in the morning, we will head to Wilson airport for a 45-minute flight to the Maasai Mara Safari Lodge.
    We recommend a flight from Nairobi to Maasai Mara for family holidays and explorers with limited time.

    The road trip from Nairobi to Maasai Mara takes 6 hours with two stops. One at The Great Rift Valley View Point, and a second one at Narok for lunch.

    After lunch and rest, it’s time for your first, evening game drive to see the wild animals in action.
    It’s only logical to not expect a lot of drama as the crocs have had their fill and will not be in the mood to hunt. But the crocs know that lean day are ahead, and so the chase does not stop.
    Our guide will take you around the savanna where the predators will be feasting on the newly arriving animals. After the sun goes down, we retreat to the resort for dinner and relaxation.

    Kenya Migration Safari Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Ride and Maasai Village Visit

    For the best view, we will take you on a hot air balloon ride from 6:15 am to 7:15 am. During this time, you will watch some of the animals stand on the shores of the Mara River (on the Tanzanian side) contemplating whether to cross or stay.
    You will see the strategy they use to try and escape the crocs, and as the balloon gets lower, you will capture the struggle between herbivores and the crocs of the Mara.
    The balloon will follow the animals to the Kenyan side, and you may be horrified to see a gazelle that made it past a croc get turned into a snack by a lion. Sad, right? But then again, the rules of the jungle dictate so.
    The ride only lasts an hour, but it gives you an aerial view of the Mara, the Great Rift Valley, and the first rays of the sun.
    After the ride, we take a champagne breakfast at the launch site, then board our luxurious 4×4 safari land cruisers and head back to the resort for proper breakfast. If you let us know in advance, we will organize a picnic bag from the hotel and set off to visit a Maasai Village.
    Locals are always engaging, and the children will entertain you with songs. You will also get the opportunity to buy souvenirs handmade by the Maasai women and children.
    In doing so, you will be making it possible for communities to send their kids to school or build shelters to fight traditions such as female genital mutilation.
    We will Dance and Jump with the Maasais, as they delight you with anecdotes of their acclaimed culture.
    The day ends with another beautiful sunset and the chance to see more of the great wildebeest migration.

    2022 Masai Mara vacation Safari Packages Day 3 - Game drive

    The Mara River is still swollen, and more animals are escaping the temporary dry season in Tanzania to get to the other side. Grab your camera and let’s capture some more of the drama!
    We will take off in a van at 6:45 am in morning after a cup of freshly brewed coffee or chai (Kenyan tea). For the next three hours, we will watch as the animals fight each other to make it across and enjoy fresh pasture. 

    Then we will get deeper into the jungle to see the situation beyond the river. Herbivores have plenty of grass now that the rains have fallen, and giraffes have the juiciest of leaves thanks to the new sprouts.

    July to October is a beautiful time at the Mara, thanks to the greenery all over.

    After lunch at Serena, we leave you to your devices for the rest of the day. It has been 3 days of real adventure and you will need to let it sink.

    At your request, we will plan to have you try local drinks in the park.

    We suggest you try Tusker, Kenya’s flagship beer, or Nyama Choma (Kenya’s charcoal-grilled meat).

    You only get to see the migration once, and so we head back to the jungle at 6:45 am. We then go searching for the Big Five, which are easy to find during the migration, thanks to the availability of food.

    We identify all the birds we can and watch the animals in action.

    Among the perks of using our services is that we get off the beaten road to search for animals. At 10:00 am, we head back to the hotel so you can grab something to eat and relax at the poolside before the final game drive of this trip.

    In the evening, we add an interesting twist to your Kenya migration safari; a guided walk safari with the Maasai and KWS guides.

    Walks help you understand the ecosystem better. You get to talk with the Maasai warriors, and you see the animals from the top of the hill you will be mounting.
